A lot of mental shit&#8217;s been happening in both the UK and on the continent while I&#8217;ve been away, so it may take me a while. Best missed headline so far? &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/uk_politics\/4423678.stm\">Blair says MPs are out of touch<\/a>&#8221; &#8211; ha ha ha!<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and interesting missed discovery, this table (leeched from <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/world\/europe\/4424668.stm\">here<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/newsimg.bbc.co.uk\/media\/images\/41004000\/gif\/_41004746_hate_crimes_gra416.gif\"><\/p>\n<p>Please note the ridiculously low levels of &#8220;faith hate&#8221; crimes. For why, then, do we need specific &#8220;Religious Hatred&#8221; legislation? There would appear to be significantly fewer &#8220;faith hate&#8221; crimes per year than there are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nu-riskservices.co.uk\/news\/briefs\/cms\/1094722524212694732217_1.htm\">injuries caused by slips on workplace steps<\/a> &#8211; so where&#8217;s the legislation to rubber-coat all office staircases, eh?<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow, or possibly later today &#8211; assuming I can find somewhere convenient to host them now that my MSN Groups account is pretty much full &#8211; expect some pretty pictures of Japan and stuff.
