In short &#8211; they can&#8217;t decide between backing the Lib Dems or Labour. Much like many on the left on this side of the pond&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the most intriguing link from Stabe&#8217;s post, however, is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/story\/2005\/4\/4\/162347\/3322\">this post from major lefty US blog the Daily Kos<\/a>, which seems to suggest that the blog&#8217;s editor Markos Moulitsas Z\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdniga, who managed to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/DailyKos#2004_campaign_fundraising\">raise over $500,000 for the Democrats<\/a> in the 2004 Presidential elections (more details <a href=\"http:\/\/actblue.com\/list\/dkos\">here<\/a>), may be heading over to the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Labour have already recruited one of John Kerry&#8217;s former webmonkeys (as m&#8217;colleague reported <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickbarlow.com\/blog\/index.php?p=186\">here<\/a>), and claim to have raised upwards of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perfect.co.uk\/2005\/04\/labour-raise-50k-from-a-single-email\">\u00ef\u00bf\u00bd50,000 in 24 hours after an email appeal<\/a> &#8211; where might the mighty Kos with his hundreds of thousands of daily readers chuck his weight, and will US tactics translate for the UK market?<\/p>\n<p>(Also posted on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.generalelection05.com\/blog\/\">General Election Blog<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Martin Stabe has a good roundup of how US &#8220;liberal&#8221; bloggers are beginning to respond to the UK election.
