When he visits Europe in February he\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdll say some reconciliatory things but he won\u00ef\u00bf\u00bdt change the thrust of his policies \u00ef\u00bf\u00bd policies with which he is completely comfortable.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Also, the full report on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/info\/policies\/eu_report.shtml\">the BBC&#8217;s alleged pro-EU bias<\/a> is now available online. It unsurprisingly hasn&#8217;t done much to calm down <a href=\"http:\/\/eureferendum.blogspot.com\/2005\/01\/we-have-found-no-evidence-of.html\">those who object to their license fees<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of a waste of license fees (although I suppose they did have the decency to sack him eventually) looks like our old mate, TV&#8217;s Robert Kilroy-Silk, has put in an application to the Electoral Commission to register the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanitasparty.com\/\">Veritas Party<\/a> after all.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere <a href=\"http:\/\/modies.blogspot.com\/2005\/01\/make-history-compulsory.html\">History teachers aren&#8217;t too impressed<\/a> with the Tories&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nickbarlow.com\/blog\/index.php?p=112\">contradictory ideas to make the study of history compulsary<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloggerheads.com\/archives\/2005\/01\/the_now_very_re.asp\">Manic&#8217;s latest anti-Rupert Murdoch rant<\/a> is also definitely worth a look.<\/p>\n<p>Sorry, that was a tad bitty, wasn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Forgot to blog this the other day &#8211; a great analysis of seven factors that could change the election by Anthony Wells &#8211; essential reading.
