{"id":1335,"date":"2006-08-28T02:18:00","date_gmt":"2006-08-28T02:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jcm.org.uk\/blog\/2006\/08\/28\/two-years-of-near-daily-blogging\/"},"modified":"2006-11-27T16:55:47","modified_gmt":"2006-11-27T16:55:47","slug":"two-years-of-near-daily-blogging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jcm.org.uk\/blog\/2006\/08\/two-years-of-near-daily-blogging\/","title":{"rendered":"Two years of near-daily blogging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>And to celebrate, a redesign!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/europhobia.blogspot.com\/2004\/08\/ive-been-rather-busy-over-recent.html\">Here&#8217;s where I started properly<\/a> &#8211; and since then it&#8217;s been near-daily updates all the way.<\/p>\n<p>I liked the old design, but although it worked fine in Firefox and Safari, I&#8217;d been getting a few complaints that it didn&#8217;t show up properly in Internet Explorer &#8211; the sidebars weren&#8217;t working properly and ended up overlapping the posts.<\/p>\n<p>This should now be fixed &#8211; although the second sidebar still doesn&#8217;t sit right in IE, for reasons that utterly escape me (any suggestions much appreciated, etc.). Trackbacks and Linkbacks also never seemed to work, which was annoying &#8211; I&#8217;m going to try and add those in during the next few days, if I can work out how.<\/p>\n<p>Still, not bad for a coding novice, eh? Constructive criticism in the comments, if I can get them working in the next few minutes before I go to bed (they seem to have vanished at the moment, and I don&#8217;t know why&#8230;) &#8211; ta!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And to celebrate, a redesign!
