{"id":1216,"date":"2006-04-21T14:18:00","date_gmt":"2006-04-21T14:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jcm.org.uk\/blog\/2006\/04\/21\/is-david-cameron-a-blogger\/"},"modified":"2006-12-02T23:56:06","modified_gmt":"2006-12-02T23:56:06","slug":"is-david-cameron-a-blogger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jcm.org.uk\/blog\/2006\/04\/is-david-cameron-a-blogger\/","title":{"rendered":"Is David Cameron a blogger?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Much like us pyjama-wearing spotty nerds, dwelling in our parents&#8217; basements and obsessively updating our &#8220;online diaries&#8221;, the dear leader of Her Majesty&#8217;s Loyal Opposition seems very good at criticisng the way the government does things, but rather less capable when it comes to proposing workable alternatives*. <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/uk_politics\/4928796.stm\">To wit<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Under a Conservative government, the climate change levy will be replaced by a more effective method of reducing carbon emissions&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Translation:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This is rubbish &#8211; if I were in charge I&#8217;d scrap it and replace it with *mumble mumble mumble* &#8211; so ner to you Mr Blair!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Labour have been lampooning the guy as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.backingblair.co.uk\/dave\/\">chamelon<\/a>. Considering the awe-inspiring speed with which he&#8217;s been changing the Tory party, a sloth would be more appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>Oh for the days of a proper opposition with, you know, old fashioned things like POLICIES and stuff&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>* Please note that I&#8217;ve come up with no workable policy solutions for Cameron in the course of this post.
